a buddy of mine found this on the internet, dunno who made it, but I like it.
I have to say that this video is so cool. I remember being at the U2 concert at the Rose Bowl and Bono explaning Aung San Suu Kyi’s plight and explaining that he sings Walk On for her, for her freedom.
This is a man that uses his celebrity well.
Tough, you think you’ve got the stuff
You’re telling me and anyone
You’re hard enough
You don’t have to put up a fight
You don’t have to always be right
Let me take some of the punches
For you tonight
Listen to me now
I need to let you know
You don’t have to go it alone
It Might Get Loud may be a new obsession. Not only am I already in love with everything U2, and maybe it’s because I’m a struggling artist, but there is just something downright inspiring in watching Jimmy Page, Jack White & Edge talk about their love affair with music and passion for guitar.
It reminds me that every artist is just a kid at heart who got into art because they truly thought it was really, really cool. Your art is a part of who you are, and you can’t avoid it if you tried.
